Hats are not just worn for bad hair days, wearing hats can add to a persons daily style. Even though it can be worn for practical reasons like blocking the sun, hats are now becoming even more popular and it can be the perfect accessory.  There are many different types of hats, so there are always options for any occasions such as funeral or weddings.  Today, wide brim hats are becoming more common for both women and men.  

This weekend, despite the rain women wore their hand-picked hats at the 141st Preakness Race. Hats ranged from simple to chic to avant-garde, which added that eye-catching emphasis to their outfits! Just like the Kentucky Derby women rocked their hats as an exuberant expression.  Besides the wide brim hat, that has lots of gorgeous flowers, feathers, and decor; Fascinators and Pillbox hats were worn by many.  Of course, everyone who attend these events to observe the horses race, but these events are more of social outings. Both men and women take time to select the right ensemble for the event and that includes picking the perfect hat!

When in doubt or if you need to spice it up a little, throw on a hat. I promise it will never let you down! Off to the races, do you have your perfect hat?!
