As we prepare to showcase our 2017 collection, we can’t help to think about the last couple of years. With every doubt, with every tear, with every learning experience we remained consistent and determined. Throughout this process, we realize the grind is not glamorous; Contrary to social media post that places glorifies on the benefits of owning a business, people rarely show the difficult moments that really makes one’s story. To take that leap of faith one has to understand he/she will take many losses before seeing any gains. The glamorous life of a business owner is the reward for all those ugly days when one is challenge beyond measure. Those days should not be the focus, however can be the motivation through struggle until experiencing success. One known fact is that failure is the prerequisite for success. Posh Me’Ke took 2 years to put the pieces together to create the picture that best fits the brand, and finally, showcase our collection.
So today’s message is just don't show and/or tell the highlights, but show the true process in that there is a higher value. The sacrifice of a business owner is very real and sometimes complicated, but worth it. There is no glitz and glam without the struggle, without learning from bad decisions and having bad days.
