Spring/Summer 17, Accessory must have...
The 18th century indoor style shoe is making its
way back. The backless overshoe was popularized by Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s.
In the 1960s the open toed styled mule was created and they were the
forerunner in the women’s shoe industry. The mule is a must have shoes for summer
2017, so expect to see them everywhere. You can find them in stores such as H&M,
Nordstrom’s, and Gucci.com etc. Whether it’s an open toe, high heel or slip on
mules you could casually dress them up with some black ankle slack with a light-colored
blouse. Or dress it down with some destressed ankle Demin jeans with a multipurpose
blouse. For example, Posh Me’ke all black Alexia top would go perfect with the Paris

ankle jeans. Not to mention it’s a great compliment to the hot pink lipstick.
