“People will
stare. Make it worth their while.”
--Harry Winston
Sex sells….this is a fact! Being
provocative and showing some skin has proven to grab the attention of
many. In the past, sex was a forbidden topic to discuss. Now it’s a part of everyday conversation with
adults. Sex used for advertisements is now becoming more prevalent and
is no longer shameful. Giving
people free range to express themselves where no rules exist is duly noted to
sell products, clothing and catch the attention of people.
At the most recent Met Gala, celebrities
such as Beyoncé decided to sex things up a bit in a tasteful way and show some
skin. Sister to the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner got “cheeky” and had some
side-boob happening in the Calvin Klein ad.
It’s no longer unusual for celebrities to pose nude on a cover of a
well-known magazine or show up to an event flaunting their amazing bodies. What
I thought was interesting is that, more women are attractive to these ads then
men are. One would think that it was the opposite way around. However, all women at some point want to feel
sexy and/or become their alter ego.
